Weekly curbside pick-up

Boston now has weekly pick up of recyclable items from private homes and participating apartment/condo buildings. It's the same day as trash day if you have one trash pick-up a week; the first trash day if you have two; and the middle day if you have three.

  • Peanut-butter jars
  • Any other plastic container marked with 1-7

  • White paper
  • Any item that is at least 75% paper (so can leave windows on envelopes,
  • etc.)
  • Softcover books
  • All cardboard
